Welcome to the neighborhood!

Bilde
Hello and welcome!  This card was a struggle, I struggled so much trying to decide what to put as an background to my car! I don't have stamps, or dies, of houses, trees, hills and clouds cause I'm not a scenemaking cardmaker, but if I'm gonna continue entering SSS challenges I might have to get some 😁  The theme for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is "Transport It". And the only stamp I've got that fits into transporting something is this car with a bicycle on the roof... I got to start buying other stamps than flowers 😂 Anyway, here it is!  Supplies: Background: Distress Oxide on black card stock with some splashes. The car stamp is from Panduro, a Nordic/Norwegain craft store. Altenew Leaf Frame Cover Die. Sentiment from Tailored Expressions Simple Strips Background. I'm not a super fan over how this turned out. I lacked idea and inspiration during this one. Now on the other hand, now I got many idea

Happy Anniversary!

One background stamp, two cards

Bilde
Hello, and welcome to my blog.  I finally got my hands on Simon Says Stamp Floral Mix background stamp! It was in the mail when I got back from visiting family and it's amazing. I made two cards with it and below you'll see how it went 😃 Card #1 - coloring with watercolor pencils Frist I stamped the image on regular Neenah White cardstock. I know it would be better to do it on watercolor paper, but it's what I chose and I have used watercolor on regular cardstock before and it works fine 😊 But of course, nothing beats watercolors on watercolor paper.  Then I just used an oval die to cut out a piece. This is the pencils I used, nothing expensive, bought them from an online store here in Norway called Adlibris.  I felt I needed a background and I decided to use this stencil from Simon Says stamp with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry on light pink cardstock.  Time to put the card together. I needed one more thing so I used an oval die
